Matt is a Co-Founder of Build to Rent to Own. Originally from New Jersey, he graduated from Delbarton School and earned degrees in Finance and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame in 2020.
Following graduation, he joined Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst in New York City. He later moved to MRP Realty in Washington, D.C., focused on real estate investment and development. In 2023, Matt transitioned to the public sector as a Senior Associate on the Strategic Investments team at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he worked across impact investment programs in real estate, venture capital, and business lending — experience that deepened his commitment to addressing structural gaps in housing access and affordability.
Patrick grew up in New Jersey and attended the Pingry School before graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 2020 with degrees in Finance and Public Policy.
After college, Patrick began his career in investment banking at Citi in New York City. He later joined a single-family office, working across private equity, real estate, and venture capital. That experience deepened his interest in how long-term capital could be used in more flexible, community-centered ways — and pushed him to explore alternative models for housing and local investment.
